Insight please?

wondering what motherboard to go with? first build and can't decide if I should go with the msi gaming m5 when it hits sale of about 140 or find another. I have ddr4 3000MHz, skylake i5 6600k for future overclocking and plans to go with 970 gtx but never really sli because it isn't worth it to me. on a budget somewhat and would like to keep it under 150, but don't want to skimp on quality. like low latency connections and good audio control, however if there was hardly any performance boost from a $100 board then I would be okay with that. just looking for opinions and help choosing one, thanks

gigabyte gaming 5 is good, 7 is better, 9 is king

no I don't, partial to msi, but wouldn't mind asus, and open to hear any other options
