Windows 10 Download Help

I've had the Windows 10 icon in the bottom right hand corner of my screen since the launch of Windows 10 and I've clicked the "notify me when ready" button multiple times and I can't seem to figure out why I haven't gotten the update yet. I've noticed that a lot my friends with less powerful computers have gotten it already. I've looked on the internet in multiple places and they only help if I didn't already have the icon.

just manually download and install it lol

In my defence I've been sent with links similar to this that didn't help me, I didn't realize there was another installer
