PC randomly restarting

Hi! 
I have a very weird problem with my PC that started after i upgraded my CPU and RAM. When doing that I updated the bios/chipset on my motherboard to get full compability with the new CPU. After the upgrade I've been getting random restarts regardless of what I'm currently doing on the PC. It skips BSOD, shuts down, then reboots instantly. The only kind of "error message" I've been able to salvage is a "kernel power error somethingsomething" in Win event viewer.. All temps are looking fine, and I've tested stresstesting RAM and CPU with Prime95 for 20min with no restart during the test..

Any ideas what it might be? PSU? Faulty mobo?

Specs:

Asus Maximus VII Gene

i7 4790k

16gb 1600mhz RAM

2x 120gb SSD

Asus Direct CUII GTX 970 4gb

Corsair RM850 PSU

Try 1 stick of ram. maybe try stress testing the system and see if that kills it? maybe try using the older cpu?

P.S try monitoring your CPU temps and see if they are reaching 100 degrees.

As I wrote, I've tried stress-testing it and I checked the temps while doing it, it didn't cause any problems  Thinking it must be the PSU or the Mobo, since I can't force the restarts. They happen randomly, regardless of what I'm currently doing.. Just typical for this to happen when the warranty of the Mobo just ran out

It could be a mobo issue, try another mobo and return it if it doesn't help.
