Pc upgrade

Hi folks. I have never used this site but after some research this seems to be the best, i bought a pc maybe a year ago or so and i have been struggeling with recording/streaming bcus of fps drop and so on. i was wondering if there was something in my build that i have to upgrade or someone who can explain where the problem is  https://gyazo.com/83a2790e2176e8742971d064ef42908d Thank you in advance.

Since you have frame drops while streaming but an Xeon 1231v3 it's just as good as an i7 and you don't need to upgrade your mobo

no budget, i just want to have the abilty to record and play games at the same time with obs

why do you want to upgrade without a budget?  

you could swap that 960 for a r9 380 ~ 200 bucks  and that should work fine to play and record ...

that's the thing, idk shit about pc. but is it really my graphics card keeping me from recording?

run taskmanger to see if its your ram or cpu holding you back

If you are trying to record/stream with this setup the main issue I see would be your CPU. Although its hard to tell. Download CPUID HWMonitor http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/hwmonitor.html -- Then open up your usual games/recording/streaming hardware and look at the GPU and CPU. If either of those two are hitting 100% load that could be your problem. Look for the percentage under "Utilizations" inside the program when you open it up. One will be for your CPU, and further down will be your GPU. 

 

I highly doubt that your GPU is is the issue - unless you are trying to push Ultra settings on all your games. The 960 is suited best for 1080p gaming at High settings, especially with only 2GB of ram on that card.
