What is the write tolerance of a SSD ? (the ammount of gbs estimated that i can write before the ssd starts failing? or im mistaken about ssds?)

Let me ask you this. Based on the average size of an SSD which is about 250 gigs. You would be insane to kill it that way. Most likely the entire human generation will die and the sun burns the earth before the SSD will reach size capacity.

well, mine is 128gb :D so it would take two entire human generations ?

youd have to fill it like every day for 10 years

2000 Terabytes seems like a good amount for transferring all of LTT videos constantly with no compression...

 

The LTT community is full of nerds who like to help and are inspired by a lot of people that ask good questions. You help the person who answers.
