Siberia V3 issues.

Hi LTT,

I recently purchased a Siberia V3 headet and like it alot so far but I have one issue.

 

While the headset a continuous ticking sound can be heard. Its hard to explain but its a soft doof doof doof. It can't be heard while gaming and listening to music but whenever no sound is being produced I have this noise. 

 

Could it be that my NZXT H440 has a fried audio jack in the front? I haven't used the ports on the motherboard because I can't seem to get the mic to work when using the mobo ports.

 

Please help me solve!

I would recommend that you atleast try the ports in the back. The front ports are quite prone to interference, so using the back I/O will eliminate that as a factor.

Are you sure you plugged the headset into the right ports on the back?

use the back ports, my front ports with my old case had a lot of interferance

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...
