VMware, dedicating a GPU to a VM

Go to solution Solved by Tycho,

Are you using vmware workstation? it can't be done in the workstation edition. Also our cpu requires intel vt-d technology. Should you still be interested in doing this, I recommend looking qemu. It's a linux based virtualizer.

I have an intel skylake core I5 6400 @ 2.70GHZ Quad Core, GTX 960 2GB, GT 740 2GB, ASrock Z170 Pro4. I would like to dedicate my GT 740 2GB to a Windows 10 VM so I can game on it whilst leaving my 960 on the host. Please can someone help, my mouse and keyboard work on the VM and are dedicated but I need the GT 740 to be dedicated to the VM. The second display is connected to my 960 and I would like to get the VM to use the 740 to do the hard work.

Thanks in advance
