Hey guys,

I am pretty paranoid when it comes to power supplies. "What if the wattage is not enough for stock and overclocking performances?" "What if the quality is not good enough?" You get the point.

May I have some feedback on the choice of my power supply? http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/PBKHYJ

Thanks.

You can get an EVGA G2 for around the same price, but is much, much better quality. Also, you could run the system on 550W.

Does your 550W estimate include overclocking performance?

With a good quality unit, yes. If you want to be safe, the 650W G2 is a very good option. Excellent quality and more than enough power.

Thanks.

after the 3rd or 4th post you're still stuck with the cx750 lol

trust me, your system wont consume more than 500W even if you overclock, so dont worry about getting a 500~600W RELIABLE PSU

i recommend the EVGA Supernova G2 550W :D its more than enough for you and its VERY reliable

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately

well if you want to have more choices, you can check this list

pick something from tier 1 or atleast, tier 2

then check jonnyguru for reviews about it and see the pros and cons before you pull the trigger

JohnyGuru is a double-edged blade. He rates based on price hence why the VS get a 7/10 whereas they deserve a 3/10

yeah, bad choice.

750W is plenty but a better-quality unit would be worth it. Check out EVGA's B2/GS/GQ/G2 series, 550W and up.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.
