Hey guys! Quick question...

I just bought this laptop... then went on Newegg and found the same thing for $100 CDN cheaper. This is located here.

The one I purchased is the Inspin i7559-5637BLK, and the one on Newegg is the i7559-2512BLK.

I am going to go back and tell them I want the difference back. I think they may try and pull the "it's a different model" trick, so I just want to know what the actual difference is, so I can let them know.

Thanks!

Obviously the price is the difference ^^

Well yeah! But Specs wise, appearance wise and even the fact they're both i7559 is the exact same. I want to verify they're in fact the exact same laptop, and if not, what the difference is if anything.

check benchmarks for both of those laptops(not only cpu). then look at the price. then make your decision.

960M is a 960M and 6700HQ is a 6700HQ - there is NO difference

Okay guys, once again I'm not concerned about this... Best buy will match competitor pricing within 30 days. Technically I think they can say "This is a different model so we can't match it". In which case I'll say "okay, refund me so I can go buy this one"

I've already bought the first one. I have it and it's set up and functioning. Best Buy matches competitors' pricing for 30 days and will refund the difference. I just don't know if they can match it if the last part of the model number is technically different, despite the fact its the exact same laptop.

If you want to bother try it.

It is the same. You can try that refund / match competitor price thing, if they don't allow, then the only difference would be that you paid $100 extra.

Dell only produce 3 model variants of this laptop and they strictly DO NOT customize them with different hardware etc for customers.

It goes.... Yours and my model, then one with a touch screen... then one with a 4k touch screen and M.2 SSD.

If they do try and pull the wool over your eyes, just drop the line that you have already spoken with Dell and they have also confirmed that they are the same model.
