gtx 760 issues

so my friend has a gtx 760 msi edition that he bought from me  a year ago
so today his pc cant detect his gpu he tried uninstalling all the drivers and now he cant even download any other drivers 
so is it a hardware issue or is it a software issue

Hardware issue? try reseating the GPU? Try moving around power connectors?

What CPU and Motherboard are you using?

At least one should have onboard graphics which will let you reinstall drivers.

Even without GPU drivers you should be able to boot with the GPU being shown as a 'VGA Device'.

 

Are the power connectors correctly attatched, try reseating it as said above.

Try a different GPU or plug in the display cable to the motherboard and see if the PC boots.

did he do any hardware related things? no? then the gpu is most likely dead

but no harm trying to install nvidia's driver from atleast TWO WEEKS AGO, not the current one, the current ones suck

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately

he tried every time he tried installing a driver 
it said failed cannnot detect a graphics card or smthn like that
