Windows 10 network one way issue

I just refreshed my render farm to windows 10 from windows 7 and i have been having a few issues

all computers are connected to my 48 port cisco switch. 

L-M-Workstation is my mobile workstation laptop-intel i7 and intel gigabit nic

L-Workstation is my custom pc- xeon and intel gigabit nic

Node's are the i7 render nodes with intel gigabit nic's

 

the nodes can't see any other pc other than my laptop and the laptop and desktop can see the nodes. what is going on? i have done some looking around and i have found nothing helpfull.

Check your network type on every node/host - Windows 10 (I think actually 8/8.1) introduced "smart" detection of the network type. It can be a real bear to convince that you're on a private network. I have one Windows 10 system on my network that reverts to Public every few weeks.
