My computer takes about 30+ min to render a 1080p 30fps 10 min video on CPU and my GPU is hardly used at all. I know that it only uses it for effects but I need to render it using the GPU. My CPU is maxed out at 100% when rendering and Media Encoder uses under 2GB of ram when I allowed it to use up to 6Gb. Is there anyway without upgrading my PC to get much faster render times. My PC specs are on my profile. I have Adobe Creative Cloud and make projects in After Effects and Premiere Pro then export them to Media Encoder.

Have you added your GPU to the list of approved cards?  Look online, there is a guide for modifying the list and adding your card.

I did already add it but I could only do it for After Effects, I render everything through Media Encoder because I can get more encoding options. Under OpenCL in After Effects it says this (in the photo). Would I set the Renderer to software only or CUDA in Media Encoder?

Set it to CUDA of course, if your GPU has CUDA cores.  With media encoder you have th option to use Mercury Engine GPU CUDA.

Did you modify the text file to add your GPU to the list of approved cards?

There are other factors besides GPU and CPU that can improve performance for video rendering.  Look online for guides for setting up scratch disks and storage optimization too.

Would working off of a NAS with a gigabit connection effect the render speed?

I can't say for sure.  Some network interfaces perform better than others even if they support the same speeds.
