I have it, works fantastic. what do you mean Cat? like Cat5 or Cat6? if so, i think it's the latest one out

i think it doesnt matter, its the ethernet cable that you plug into it is the cat5 or cat6.

Personally I'd go with the 68u i'ts only 30 bucks more.
