Is my Mouse Dying?

My mouse randomly freezes for a second, 0,5 sec randomly, how do i fix this?

Its the same in games and desktop.

generic Logitech mouse , i think its this one, but i had mine for about 3 years now: http://www.logitech.com/en-roeu/product/6562?crid=7

 

i tried a different USB port, its the same

What kind of mouse do you have? and when it freezes does windows show that the mouse is disconnected or not?

Maybe driver issue?

Nope, just freezes, everything else is normal.

Gigabyte appcenter doesnt show any new driver updates

do you lift up your mouse when using it? it could be the lift of distance on your mouse pad (called CD's) try using it on a different surface or something.

Its been fine for 3 years, so probobly its not that

Then yes it might be dieing, the sensor might be giving up on life, or maybe the sensor is dirty?

I "cleaned" it with a piece of cloth, ill see now if its good,

If you play games then try the Steel Series Rival 100, Final Mouse 2016 Summer Edition or my personal fav the Logitech G502.

 

Or if you just use your pc for praying to our lord linus, try a MX Master
