Hello I've been having issues with my card so i contacted the people who made the card, Told them whats wrong with it and they gave me a couple of files to try and fix the issue (Winflash,2 x5z files) I installed one of the x5z files and my computer froze, I tried turning on my computer and nothing, got a error, Looked up the error and it says "Installation of the PCH runtime services". When i put in another card the computer boots, any ideas?
ALSO what does this mean? DO i return the card with the box or put it in a bubble bag? the cards pretty big :/
"Return bare product only. DO NOT return any packing material and accessories such as: color box, cables, CD driver and owner's manuals. Using a bubble bag to protect the product is recommended. Please fulfilled the return box with packing peanuts; recommend using security sealing tape to seal the box. "

It is likely bricked and you should return it in the anti-static bubble bag or anti-static bag and then place it into a sturdy cardboard box to ship it. Do not ship it literally bare.

They just mean do not ship it will all the original packaging bits, adapters, and other accessories as you will not get them back.

What I do is put the GPU into its anti-static bag then in some static dissipative bubble wrap (pink sometimes) and then into a decently sized cardboard box with enough space to allow the bubble wrap to cushion the GPU when it is thrown around in shipment. If it arrives at the RMA centre as a broken pile of bits they are not going to be very happy. If I have lots of cardboard boxes around sometimes I will double box them as that will pretty much make it impossible for it to be damaged in transit. Also make sure you write the RMA number clearly on the box and put the RMA sheet inside as well just the outside gets mangled or something.

Will they send it back if its bricked? "Return product becomes non-functional due to customer improper use" what if they use that as a excuse D:

If you get an RMA number then your generally good to go. Don't send it before you do that. If you where following their instructions and they didn't work it isn't your fault. Also don't expect them to pay shipping to the RMA centre as you typically have to cover this cost.

If they know what is happening and you have an RMA number then they will likely accept it provided you don't physically damage the card (the RMA number is likely for a bricked card and they can refurbish it pretty easily by re-flashing the firmware directly)

Mmmm well it certainly is true why wasn't the earlier support included in your ticket? If your afraid they will just return it back you can just tell them you where provided reflashing software by their support and it didn't work and now this is causing the black screens. If they don't like it then they will say you can't return it and you won't waste the shipping fees at least. Alternatively you could also just not tell them as you technically have not lied in any way. From their perspective it has a corrupt firmware which could be caused by any number of things.

Also not booting up is pretty similar to crashing to a black screen it is just crashing instantly during pre-boot.
