Booting for the first time

Hello, i just built my very first computer today and i have a ssd and a harddrive in it. Does anyone know how i can set up my ssd as my bootdrive and my harddrive as my storage? How can i install my operatingsystem to my ssd and not my hard drive? Thanks!

Do you have a boot device with Windows media set up on it yet (disc or flash drive)?

Plug it in then start up the computer. There should be a button it will tell you to press to get into the boot menu. Press that. If you miss it and it posts before you can hit the button, turn it off and repeat. Once you're in the boot menu, select your flash drive and you're good to go.

The problem isn't how to boot , but should I custom install or just choose the normal install?

Normal will be fine, but do custom if you want to..well...customize it. Such as disabling Microsoft spying on you and whatnot.

It is when it comes to he partition stuff that really confuses me as both my ssd and my harddrive shows up and I donno what to do from there.

Don't worry about the other partitions you see, just select your SSD to install on.
