What cpu do you have?

i have a g3258 at 4.2ghz but i never EVER had any problems with chrome in the past, that is why i'm posting here

Well, aside from chrome just being a fat fuck and sucking down ram like it was water, you might try clearing your cache. 

Or just switch to a lighter web browser. I still use opera, even though it recently sold out, it at least still uses only 20% the ram that chrome used.
