Possibly unique audio requirements

that is so close to what i need its crazy. one problem. need it to use USB and 2.5mm in and out as well

The USB audio doesn't it have 3.5 mm connections? You can always just get another USB audio adapter that has 3.5mm input/outputs. The 2.5mm your going to have to use adapters as I described to get it to work.

For a 2.5mm headset typically the left and right channels on a normal cable is used for mono sound and a mono mic. So with a ton of adapters you can get to 3.5mm connections on the back of the switch.

You could also use one of these as well if you need more poles to switch from. It is bi-directional so you just need two boxes it can go in reverse as well.

The belkin one looks cleaner however and you just need USB audio devices with 3.5mm output/input and some pile of adapters.

i would like to preface this post with the statement that i am not 100% sure that what i need is even possible. now to begin:

I am a work from home customer support supervisor. i use two computers and two phones while at work. all of these devices have sound that i need to hear. currently i wear two headsets and have two sets of speakers set up so i can hear it all. i would like to get a system set up where i can only use one headset for all four audio sources. here is where things get complicated. the computers both use USB audio out. one is a gaming/personal rig that i have to keep up for emails outside of my work email and for odd research tasks not able to be performed by the company work computer. one of the phones is an iphone 6s and the other phone is a landline that uses a 2.5mm headset jack. so i need something that i could plue 2 USB sources in, a 3.5mm single pole headset in, and a 2.5mm headset in. nothing is allowed to be wireless as per my company's security policies and there is zero way i can run this through a sound card on my pc as that would also violate that same security policy. i have been searching for months and have never been able to find something. please. LTT community or maybe even the LTT staff themselves. help me. my head and neck can not take two heavy headsets anymore and my desk looks terrible from all the speakers and extra wires.

Generally speaking you cannot mix USB audio sources. You can mix analog sources (which could be outputs from the USB audio) so you would want to replicate your mic input to multiple mic ins and your speakers outputs from all devices to be mixed together to goto one powered speaker/amp.

Line level analog sources can be easily mixed and split although you are going to need one for the outputs and one for the mic input.

i misspoke in my post. i dont need to actually hear everything at once. i just need to be able to switch between each device at will without having to bother with changing headsets or plugging into something else.

Oh even easier. You just need an audio switch more secure that way too as you can't get mixed up as easily with an entirely mixed system.

Headset switch,

You can also adapt the 2.5mm to various things and if you need to split it out you can use a various adapters. (2.5>3.5>RCA L/R > then use RCA to 3.5 to get the mono mic/speaker)

i wanted to keep the USB sources as USB sources without converting them to maintain the quality. the headset i am using is a USB headset as well. and no the work computer does not have 3.5mm outputs, and for the 2.5 yeah they make single piece adapters.
