and yes i would say freesync is worth it, i hate screen tear

Do they have 144hz on display at best buy?

I dont think so

most Expensive TV's are 120hz i think so go to a TV store and see if you can tell the difference, if you can then congratulations you can c the difference

Only if you have AMD card and is an AMD loyalist, even in the future.

 

To test 60Hz vs 144Hz is simply drag a window with fast shaking movement. 

60Hz will have the text hard to read, while 144Hz has the text easier to read.
