Hey guys so I Overclocked my Msi Gtx 960 to this :  a3f7abaf2db96621ac704d82fc94f5e3.png

The overclock was stable, and increasing the core clock by 50 crashed so I was content with the 200MHz OC.

However, the memory clock was at a solid +300MHz OC but I just put it up to +600MHz and after a good minute of heaven benchmark, nothing crashed and temps were around 40-55c without any noticeable artifacting.

What my question is, is how do I know when my memory OC is unstable, I know that when the core clock is unstable the drivers crash and stuff but will it do that if the memory is overclocked too far. Just dont know what I should be looking for in terms of making sure its stable.

Thanks in advance :^)

Just like the core, Mem OCing can cause artifacts, driver crashes and even freezes / BSODs. So while 1min isn't what I'd call that "stable", you'll know that the OC fails when it does, trust me.

Run the Fuzzy PQTorus in Kombuster for about five minutes. You'll know pretty quickly whether your OC is going to cause artifacts (and if it's stable in the first place). After that, run Heaven or Valley for half an hour or so.

I enjoy buying junk and sinking more money than it's worth into it to make it less junk.
