yes it does anything above a gtx 950 supports sli.

Yes,

pretty much every GPU that is entry level or higher supports SLI, its kind of a necessity in this day and age.

Yes, but I would always recommend getting a single 980ti over a 970 SLI due to SLI scaling and potential micro stuttering in some games.
