Nepton 240 M mounting query

Guys I have built my PC in the shop where I bought parts, the guy who built it mounted nepton 240 m without using backplate,

it seems to me there are no issues with that, is there any possible problem I must be aware because of this kind of mounting.

My socket type is 2011 v3

I don't have any experience with the nepton, but as long as the cooler is secure and some pressure is being applied, you should be just fine.

 

Additionally, depending on what socket type you have (eg 115x, 2011, AM3+, etc) the backplate may not be part of the intended mounting setup for your cooler. For instance, my 212 evo uses the backplate on my 1151 board, but I think if used on a 2011 board the backplate is omitted.
