I was checking out the review on their website and was shocked that they said it's a bad PSU. So I was wondering, why the other reviewers gave it a good review.

It's not a bad psu, it's just very expensive for what it is. It's nowhere near the level of something like an EVGA G2, but it's usually priced quite a bit more. It's good; it's just not as good as the competition.

That's true. G2 are much better. I hoping that I could upgrade during April, replace my PSU and get a new GPU. Not, sure Which GPU as of yet. I've got and AMD 7950. Which is okay. Need newer hardware.

The original one had less than stellar capacitors, but v2 of those are much better.  The newer RMi and RMx series are excellent as well and extremely highly rated on jonnyguru

For what you get it's a bit spends. The new RMx and RMi are excellent units however so have no qualms about them.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

If it wasn't for the overheating problem, in which the fan didn't spin up in a very specific scenario that [H] hot box had put it in, it would have had passed. Paul / Spectre (the one who reviewed that RM750) stated this somewhere at Jonnyguru.com.

Because of that review, Corsair had seen to it that is had been fixed in late 2013. Not that it matter anymore, as that version had been discontinued.
