I have a razer blade 2015 with only 256gb of storage and its starting to irritate me how little space it has. I want to put in a 1tb ssd but I don't know which type it takes. I know that it takes a m.2 one and not a 2.5 inch ssd but I dont know if there are any that are 1tb in size that are compatable with my blade.

I also live in New Zealand so I'd be happy to import it but of course this would add to its cost. If its going to be like $500 I wont bother so yea. Either way any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

It takes any M.2 SSD. If I remember correctly, the highest capacity for M.2 drives right now is 512GB (thus the reason why its the highest config on Razer's site).

Look into the 850 EVO or MX200 :D

Logitech G502 RGB // Corsair K65 RGB (MX Red)

I thought I saw somewhere about a Sandisk x400 1tb one? Any idea when that might be coming out?

I have no idea when it will come out :( If you really need that much storage, get the 512GB M.2 drive and an external drive to store other stuff.

It is a m.2 drive, but its wired to the sata bus, rather than pcie like most m.2 ports, so be mindful about that. since sata m.2 drives are not very popular, your best bet would be to go with a 512gb ssd, sell the 250gb ssd and get an external 1 tb hard drive.

Well, here's that 1TB drive you mentioned:

Sure as hell the only 1TB M.2 drive I could find. I'm not saying I recommend getting it (haven't heard enough about it to go either way), and I don't know how much is costs in New Zealand (or if it's even available there), but there it is.

I've only read the first paragraph or so, but Anandtech says it's an OEM drive, meaning it's not even actually made as a retail product:

-Because you actually care if it makes sense.
