Hey dudes, basically is this able to be repaired? Can you replace sockets? is this board usable?

Hmm... I need to buy a motherboard, and this x79 MSI one is like $60, aka $200 less than anything else.

out-of-warranty repairs in the states for a LGA socket can run $125 plus shipping (with no guarantee of other malfunctions).

i had some sockets repaired in arizona for $50 plus $15 shipping.. one was so bad, all but A2/B2 DIMMS (single channel usage only) repaired.

It would be repaired in New Zealand  so likely even worse. I'll look into pricing and guarantees here, but I may end up spend $350+ for the board  sad
