Best budget cpu cooler

Daniel123dk

Im going to buy a cooler for my brothers pc as it over heats like hell.

The cpu to cool is a AMD phenom 2 x6 1090t at stock clock.

I will spend between £20-25 for a cooler, i have a fan myself, so a bare heatsink could be an option :-)

Hyper212 by cooler Master is £26 so that would be good.  If his cpu is overheating at stock speeds there might be some other issues like not enough case airflow or too much dust build up though.

I got 2 fans intaking from the front, 1 fan intaking from the back and 2 fans exhausting on the top, The problem is, that the cpu cooler is from an older fx4100, which is not made to dissipate that much heat from a cpu as a 1090t.

Ah OK that makes sense.  Also turn the back fan around to exhaust as well, should make a difference.

Then, we will have negative fan pressure, so i better just let it sit as it sits :)

Better to have negative pressure than improper airflow.  If you want to make sure you have positive pressure, make sure the front 2 move more air than the rear ones and use only the rear one and furthest back top one.  That would give you better cooling than having an intake I'm the back because the direction of the flow is more important than the amount of air moving (although both are important.)
