As my school has ended and I am going to college in a couple of months I wanted a workhorse that can easily do my jobs. After researching quite a bit I decided to build an itx rig that is small enough to be easily movable (During vacations when I visit my home) and which takes less space. For other small uses like taking notes or consuming media on the go I will be buying a cheap chromebook.

Please give me suggestions to improve it/build something similar while spending less. Also, will the cpu cooler that I have chosen fit inside the case?

The "build"

Please note that I already have the PSU and the Headphones. This build is gonna cost me around 1,13,559 INR(1,696 USD). Most components I am purchasing are from NewEgg India with Processor and Cooler coming from Amazon India.

Also, give suggestions about a nice Mechanical Keyboard.

I wouldn't really recommend the Node 304. Sure it's mITX, but it's really big. The actual footprint is not much smaller than a regular ATX tower, it's just a lot shorter. I'd take a look at the Silverstone SG13, I have one and I love the case. I also have a couple of SG05s (the predecessor to the SG13) and those were awesome too, Silverstone in general makes great SFF cases. Also, no GPU? And you don't need more than 16GB of RAM, and it would be better to get a single 500GB SSD. I have the 850 EVO 500GB and it's hella fast. And the HDD is pretty overpriced for what it is, better to go with a Seagate Barracuda or WD Blue.

Will the SG13 be able to fit everything without much hassle? Also, I am currently waiting for new cards to be released as by then I will have enough money for the highest end graphics card and they will offer better performance too.

In case of RAM I am going with 32 because I will need it to do some video editing and run some other demanding applications but mainly video editing and gaming. only. And my plan for the the two SSDs was to put them in raid 0 and enjoy some helluva performance. Also, thnx for reminding me of the barracuda that one had slipped my mind. :P

Well if you have power loss you can destroy the RAID so it's kind of risky. And you have no GPU btw.

Not a bad build.  I would consider a different case though.  Something that looks prettier while you're at it.  No need to watercool unless you plan on overclocking like crazy.  Also, why not try a samsung 950 pro m.2 instead?  It'll cost a bit more if you still want 500gb, but that would be helluva performance.  If you're doing video editing why not get a slightly larger/nicer monitor too.  For keyboards, i have the razer deathstalker which is pretty good but i got a really good deal on it ($50 usd with a razr abyssus).  My friend has the logitech G910 which is one sweet keyboard.  I would've loved to get that one, but it was just a bit out of my price range and he got an awesome deal on it ($110)

This case is a bit too large for my purposes so I will pass. Buying the 950 pro will jack my budget up by 20K and I can't afford it. :(  I will definitely consider that monitor! And thnx for the keyboard recommendation!
