Frozen Startups

I just got a new computer and It was working fine. A few days ago I started having startup issues. Whenever I turn on the computer it will start up until the windows logo. After the Windows logo disappears the screen will stay black for about a minute before it loads the login area. What makes this odd is that this doesn't happen all the time. Almost every other or more times just not every time I turn on the computer. If this helps, I have a lite-up keyboard and when the computer decides to hang for a minute the keyboard isn't lit. Also, this just happened last night/today, After I installed an enormous amount of Windows updates (116) and turned on the computer, it froze while updating. I had to force shut down and it was fine after that.

To top off the issue, one of my case fans (the one on top) doesn't always start spinning at start up. Similar to my frozen start up problem, It doesn't happen all the time. In fact this one is rare. When it decides it doesn't want to start spinning I have 2 methods to get it spinning. 1. Put the computer to sleep and then wake it, or 2. Turn the fan speed mode to high and then back down to low. Ohhhh the wonderful problems of a new computer.\

Edit: Now I'm having more problems! I noticed my mouse was lagging on the screen as in it was smooth but it stopped moving and then continued. I restarted the computer. After the restart there was ANOTHER problem. I wasn't connecting to the internet. After ANOTHER restart it was working fine. Of coarse it still doesn't end there. In  my web browser, (Google Chrome) I was able to change tabs but not click anything in the tabs. I went to open Task Manager and it wasnt opening. After 10+ times of hitting Start Task manager" it opened. No unusual processor activity or anything. What's going on???????

I know windows doesn't always take the same amount of time to boot for me but over 1m on an ssd is unusual, it could be a problem with the ssd. I recently had to rma and ocz ssd because after about a year it had this problem where it would randomly seize up and would not respond for about 10s at a time so it could be something similar. It could also be some startup program.

Still sounds like an SSD problem, when mine was having problems my mouse would lag and the keyboard would be delayed, no programs would be able to open while it wasn't responding, maybe somebody else has some better advice but that sounds exactly like what was happening when my SSD was failing.
