So here is the problem. I've asked everywhere but know one knows.

I have a Intel Pentium G3258 that i want to overclock to 3.3Ghz from 3.2Ghz.

But when i try to overclock the chip it blue screens with the error whean_uncorrectable_error. I using these setting in Bios. Core Voltage: 1.25v, Core Clock 3.3Ghz

The Pc

CPU: Intel Pentium G3258 @3.2Ghz. Ram: Kingston DDR3 1333Mhz (Don't have the name but it seems generic). Mobo: MSI z97 Gaming 3. PSU: Widetech 750Watt 80+ (I think its this part as its pretty bad). And CPU Cooler is CoolerMaster Nepton 240m

the WideTech PSUs have really bad power supply on the 24Pin connector

Would it be worth returning the PSU for this one?

Wait - you're Australian? If you're in Sydney, I'd rather shop at Mwave, you can pick up from Lidcombe

this is completely unrelated since the g3258 is not a k-series cpu but still has an unlocked multiplier

Did you even watch the video??? It is specifically about the g3258 overclocking ability being removed by Intel microcode updates because it is a non-k series cpu.
