Hello. I recently joined the forums, as i'm currently planning a new pc build. I'm pretty new to this and know almost nothing, so is this a good build:

CPU: AMD ATHLON II X4 860K FM2

GPU: SAPPHIRE AMD/ATI RADEON R9 380 4GB

PSU: CORSAIR VS450 PSU 450W ATX 2.3

RAM: KINGSTON 8GB DDR3

Motherboard: MSI A68HM-E33 V2

Storage: SAMSUNG SSD 850 EVO 250GB SATA III

Case: DEEPCOOL TESSERACT SW MATX

Is it also good for the price? (563.91 euros) Let me know :)

Latvia, i heard it's pretty expensive compared to USA.

Latvia's an EU country, you'll likely be able to buy from bigger and potentially cheaper markets like Germany, France and the UK without having to pay any import duty or additional VAT. There may be additional delivery charges, but that will be retailer dependant.

I know this is market and country dependent, but in my experience (also an european guy here :) ), you are better off ordering the parts locally, rather than from bigger retailers like amazon. Because while they won't charge you for import and VAT, they will charge you for delivery, making the total cost pretty much identical to the one of a local retailer. Also, you will have to wait a lot longer than if you would go with a local retailer. Also, the warranty, if it's not international, you're screwed, and sending the product back...will be a pain in the ass.

Okay, so i gathered the parts on Amazon UK, and it the total price is 500 euros. Is that better, or should i search somewhere else?

Well, i'm currently checking out the UK version of Amazon and the shipping for me is free. Plus, currently is 60 euros cheaper than my local retailer. Iv'e also never have been sent any broken items, so i'm not worried about sending it back.

I've got a SuperFlower 650W 80+ Gold. I would say that's pretty good for this build. Seasonic is also a good buy, if you find anything nice.

Anything from xfx or seasonic.

Alright, thanks for your support. I'll be checking out more retailers for cheaper parts.

Amazon's usually the cheapest place to get PC parts in the UK (excluding the odd sale at other retailers). I also believe that at the moment Amazon UK tends to have better prices than its Euro equivalents.

I added a Latvian address to my Amazon UK account, I was surprised to see that the delivery was still free, just takes a few days longer.

Could you suggest me one, that's not too expensive and good quality?

I believe all the EVGA SuperNova 80+ Gold PSUs are made by Super Flower, they're damn good PSUs.

Thanks, by the way, is the GPU good? Can it run games likes Fallout 4 and GTA 5 on High, 60 fps, 1080p? Here in Latvia it costs about 230 euros.

To clarify, the G2, GS, and GQ ones are the good ones. The B1 and G1 series are mediocre.

Yeah it'll be fine. However, it's much cheaper from elsewhere in the EU, I had a quick look and a Sapphire R9 380 4GB is 190 Euros from Amazon France.

Chrome auto translates websites to English (or presumable any other language you fancy having them in). It's not perfect, but it's easily good enough to get by.

Pretty much the GPU is cheaper than my local retailer, everything else is a bit more expensive on Amazon. I will probably order parts from different retailers to save money. Thanks by the way.
