I went ahead and installed my nvidia drivers when I just purchased my new PC . Sadly the installation has errors with installing Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0. So I went and tried the installer from Microsoft but it also failed to install. There was an error HRESULT 0x8024800C . I googled it but have not seem to find a solution to it. Please help I can't run games without it. I'm using Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit SP1 . Please help.

looks like something might be corrupt. you might want to try running framework removal tool or using the Windows repair tool (by tweaking.com)  http://www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/tweaking_com_windows_repair_portable.html

if you still get issues you may need to reinstall windows
