That's what CPU Z says. I cant see 1600 or 1866

933 x 2 = 1866 soo.. its 1866... why x2 because its ddr - double data rate

The RAM I currently have in my system is 8gb of DDR3. The clock speed advertised on them was 1866MHz. After reading my motherboard manual I discovered that my motherboard (MSI gaming 3 didn't support that speed unless I manually overclocked it. I have gone to the bios settings multiple times and set the speed to 1866MHz. But every time I look in task manager it says 1600MHz

Does this mean that the OC isn't working or that it is and windows wont detect it?

Any help would be appriciated.

Thanks
