Chronic Lag when typing

Basically, today, I got my hands on a USB on the go adapter. Unfortunately, when inputting into Google Drive on my phone, there is about 5 seconds of input delay between me pressing the buttons and the action being done. This doesn't happen when using the stock phone keyboard.

This problem doesn't happen in other applications. I am typing this in my web browser and there is no delay :)

Is there something to solve this?

Rooted?

Try restarted with the device inserted and run drive first, don't run anything else. And then test it

It's not rooted :(

Yep. Still does it. Ah well; must be a bug with Google Drive

Either a bug or your phone can't handle the POWWAHH

Try a bluetooth keyboard if you can or another keyboard
