Nvidia driver not supporting display?

When I boot my pc, I see the windows animation and then my monitors says "Unsupported mode". This normally means res is too high for monitor, then I boot into low res mode and change the res to 800x600 and then again the same problem happens. So is there something wrong with the nvidia drivers because it is pissing me off.

Xeon 1231 v3/ H81m - P33 / 8GB Corsair Vengeance/ GTX 950/ Fractal Design Core 1000.
