So I'm putting together a sort of software tool kit so I can have all the programs I'd normally use to fix/set up people's computers on a flash drive, and I'm looking for more stuff to put on it. I'd love recommendations.

-I prefer that the programs be portables so I don't have to install them on the machine I'm working on (except for things where the point is to install them, like Chrome). If anyone knows of a portable version that I don't have, that would be helpful.

-It isn't only programs I'm looking for. Things like reference charts can be helpful as well.

-I am absolutely certain that I am not the first person to come up with this. If anyone else has one put together, I'd love to know what's on it.

Here's what I currently have on it...

Portables:

--CrystalDiskMark

--CrystalDiskInfo

--HWiNFO

Installers:

--Chrome

--GFE

--MalwareBytes (If anyone knows how to get their hands on the portable, well...)

--Afterburner

--Samsung Magician

--Spybot Anti-Beacon (Their portable seems screwy. Anyone know what's up with it?)

--VLC

"Do as I say, not as I do."

-Because you actually care if it makes sense.

Umm, there was a software I believe you would love that had the ability to make a portable version of any software. I wanna say it was called Calmeyo or Cams or something very similar to that. I believe that could help you out.

Found it! It is called Cameyo.

Thanks! I'll check it out!

I'll have to make sure I can trust it... You know what they say about something that's too perfect to be true...

Yeah I understand you, but this is 100% legit. I used to use it a lot a year or so ago. However of course it doesn't work with every program, it worked for a majority of the ones I tried.

i use this all the time, add a few programs like .net installer, directx installer

i use this to install hardware drivers, the offline version is 17gb,  i wouldnt use it to install software though since its all russian, but for drivers it has worked everytime(knock on wood) especially to fix ethernet or wifi drivers , then from there you can download everything off the net

if i post a link to amazon try to use the LTT affiliate code to help the channel http://www.amazon.com/?_encoding=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=390957&linkCode=ur2&tag=linustechtips-20
