380x or 960 are the only options I can think of.   380X is going to perform a bit better for the money but has other tradeoffs depending on your needs.

Tell my tale to those who ask. Tell it truly; the ill deeds along with the good, and let me be judged accordingly.

Sorry that someone scared you with spooky ghost stories. You can run a 390x on a 500w PSU.

yea i know that, but my pc already has a power draw of 380w with the 390x it would be 450W  and i live in hawaii where electricity is damn expensive so id rather save a few bucks there

edit i was wrong here is what it is with the 390x

PSU calculators are ALL wrong. They always take what the maximum consumption is with benchmarking tools that push hardware to the limit and don't actually represent real world scenarios. A great example is the your link. That's actually measurement for a 380x, instead of a 390x, and it's telling you that you can't run it on a 500W PSU which is flat out wrong. This is a realistic representation of a 390x during typical gaming even after it's overclocked:

its not a matter of what all the sites say i would rather have a 600w power supply for my rig than a 4 year old 500w psu. its all a matter of personal preference, my money, my choice. like i said electricity is expensive in hawaii i get good frame rates with my 960 @1080p. anyway we getting off the ops question of what video card is the best for $200, the cards are almost the same, why i chose the 960 was because of the lower power draw which equates to some, though small savings in electric every year. its for the op to decide what he wants its his rig and his money and to me both choices are good
