Hello guys,

I have a bit of a problem. I have a Sony VAIO Fit 11A laptop (SVF11N1M2E) and the M.2 SSD stopped working today. It worked fine all day, but when I turned it off, and booted it up an hour later, it just gave me the failed to load windows screen. So I went into the BIOS and unfortunately the SSD was not recognized. I have tried almost everything, changing BIOS settings, removing the M.2 SSD and place it back, but nothing works.

The biggest problem is that I have some very important data on it. Is there any way to get the SSD working again or at least get my data back? Any there any tools I can use to check if the drive is still there? Btw, it is an UEFI machine.

I also start looking for data recovery companies, but since they are so expensive and I am still a student, I am looking for a (hopefully) cheaper solution. Nevertheless, if I have to, I might go for the recovery company that can give me some data back. I am from the Netherlands btw.

Thanks in advance!
