I was wondering what are the dangers of overclocking with the multiplayer and FSB?

My FSB currently is 200 mhz , and my RAM is 1600 mhz.

I just want a little boost like an increase of 10 to the FSB nothing real big. Unless that is big but I don't know. So would it be safe for me to increase the FSB by 10 to get a little extra boost in performance for my CPU?

No dangers.. having to reset CMOS because it wouldn't boot.

What socket and such are you on?

Just the regular dangers of overclocking(more heat, chance of instability, etc), but increasing your FSB by 10Mhz won't give you much performance(not much risk either). Since your FSB is 200Mhz, I assume you are using an AMD CPU? What are your other specs?

AMD CPU is FX-6300

Motherboard is M5A97 LE R2.0

RAM is Patriot Viper 3 1600 mhz single channel

FSB OC'ing nets some good benefits on the FX series through CPU-NB/HT OC'ing in cohesion with the core clock.

Some frequencies will act as voids - like the ratios don't sit happy and won't be stable. Only thing to do is test.

I am currenty at 216 FSB and 22 multiplier. Getting really good results. There is up to 5% performance increase in pushing the CPU-NB/HT to there limit from stock.

Yea I noticed. when I tried to get 4.5 it crashed. Now its at 4.45 with 1.28 vcores

Still really low volts. If you have an aftermarket cooler you can likely push much further

Edit: I had to add quite a bit of CPU-NB voltage for stability. sitting at 1.3v - have not had any issues with stability, but I was crashing and I knew it wasn't from vcore voltage because I have it set to ~1.464 and it only ever draws ~.1448/1.456 in game. I added voltage to ram (1600 OC'd to 2014) to eliminate that as an issue. Tried syncing CPU-NB/HT core clocks, then resorted to adding more voltage to CPU-NB as I still wasn't more stable than before. That worked.
