Hello every one iv been doing some searching for a few graphic card and iv come across what i think is a solid buy.

But i turn to the Internets and people that surly know better than me when it comes to getting a new graphic card for gaming.

 

My current set up is nothing to impressive.

      System Manufacturer: Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd.
             System Model: To be filled by O.E.M.

                Processor: AMD Phenom(tm) II X4 980 Processor (4 CPUs), ~3.7GHz
                   Memory: 8192MB RAM

              Windows Dir: C:\WINDOWS
          DirectX Version: 11.2

 Card name: AMD Radeon HD 5700 Series

 

As you can see in desperate need of an up grade to keep up with the new generation of gaming.

Im currently looking at 

Gigabyte AMD R9 390X Graphics Cards GV-R939XWF2-8GD

its priced 407$ on amazon. With all that being said i turn to you all do you know of a better card for the price range, do you see any major conflicts happening that i haven't seen myself and the obvious bottle neck problem what CPU pares well with the R9?

Well i intend on upgrading the CPU after i get the graphics card i don't mind being bottle necked for a short time.

Why do you suggest the 380?

I suggested the 380 so you can upgrade your CPU, but that is up to you. Are you planning on staying AMD? or switching to Intel?
