Right now this will be a work in progress. I HATE searching for motherboards, only 5,000 to choose from.

I have a budget of 340$, this is a new build, will take a few months or so at least. Soooooooooo, what would

you all buy first? I'm going Intel for the first time as well, so it has to be an Intel Mobo. I was thinking a mobo

and ram and a case? Is it possible for this amount? Also would like a mobo that has user friendly OC possibilities.

Thank you in advance.  :-) I value all ideas.

So I would go for non-oc stuff and get all parts exept the gpu:

I know its over your budget but if you buy this you have a pc that is working completly fine for some games like cs:go and lol

Why an intel board?? I have yet to see any advantage other than brand to them

But if you want gaming, you need to save up more. Other wise I'd buy some ddr3 or an hdd, maybe a midtower case now and wait for the prices to shift after the new gpus/cpus drop before you decide what to get.

I think he meant a board for an Intel CPU, not necessarily a board made by Intel themselves.

idk, hopefully, but some people would use intel graphics just to stay brand loyal

yes i am looking for a mobo that supports i7 cpus>>>>>  for gaming>>>> i was told intel is much faster for gaming then amd>>> im open to ideas>> as i said it will be a work in progress>>> probably dump a total of 1600$ or so overall when done.

I would not get an i7 instead i would get an i5 because for gaming there´s not much difference

I don't think buying now makes a whole lot of sense. I'd just save up until I could afford the complete system and then buy all the parts together. Otherwise you might just limit your options later on.
