Shroud is blocking GPU fan

Go to solution Solved by TheDeathEffect,

Found the problem.  The screws on the XSPC back-plate are really long, and there's a specific one under the fan that was actually pushing it up.  The plastic part warped away from the PCB on the fan, but I used a hair dryer to mold it back into place.

Thanks for the help

So I have a 980ti hybrid and added a back-plate to it.  After installing it, I noticed that the shroud was now blocking the fan and stopping it from spinning (so that's what that beeping sound was).

Are there any better solutions than leaving some screws unscrewed at the end so the shroud doesn't make contact with the fan?

Do you happen to have a photo of it, most fans are set back behind a shroud so I'm not sure what you mean by it getting in the way other than airflow itself.
