So I saw this article http://www.pcworld.com/article/3040860/macs/oculus-rift-founder-reiterates-apples-macs-cant-handle-vr.html where Palmer says even the high end Mac Pro can't handle VR. But when you look at the specs of the D700s, it matches the 280x. So basically a workstation grade 280x? Cut down clockspeed an such, but 2 of those should still beat out a 970 or 290. I'm not saying that the Mac Pro is good for gaming or performance. Because even my $1500 PC has more horsepower than the $8000 Mac Pro. But I thought that 2 D700s could handle VR in bootcamp or something? Maybe not, educate me

Because for MAC you have to buy that dock station for GPU that connects thru thunderbolt or usb C

Lol. The Mac Pro actually has two dedicated GPU's. The Mac Pro is the super overpriced expensive mini workstation.

So then the thing is that AMD drivers are not optimized for fire pro cards on games?
