So the last thread just died for some reason. @DaltonM and some other people asked for some expansion slots and now I took pics of my GPU in my computer.

So will this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127836&cm_re=MSI_GTX_750_TI-_-14-127-836-_-Product Go together with my computer?

The slot where there is already a card looks to be a PCIE x16 slot since I think I can see the locking mechanism all the way on the left. But you'd have to remove that card to be sure.

What CPU (and psu) do you have?

You'll need to open up your computer and see how many amps your psu can deliver over the 12v rail/s.

well the 750 TI needs a minimum of 400 W for the PSU so I'm not sure if this was already noted but you'll have to upgrade that since yours is only 300 Watts

No it doesn't, a 750Ti can run on a decent 300w psu without any issues.

Your computer is compatible with the card. Trouble is that you may need to think of a creative way to get power to it if it's got an additional power connector. Make sure your power supply either has a spare PCI-e power connector (wil be zip tied up or dangling somewhere) or a molex or two spare so that you can adapt.

Actually it's fine. Really. If the computer has enough power capacity to support the processor off one 12v rail then it definitely has enough for a 750ti

It doesn't need that much. It sips power. You can run a 970 off 400w.

Not necessarily.....I wouldn't want to run a 750Ti on a psu that can only deliver 150w over the 12v rails, but that would be more than enough to run an i3.

no idea but it's in the spec page on newegg, maybe someone else can say different, I'm not sure. Here's where it says so - excuse my shaky mouse.

Those guidelines are overspec'd, both AMD and Nvidia overshoot the power requirements by quite a large margin.

Check an actual power consumption benchmark for a more accurate expectation.

Yeah I believe that's just taken from the nvidia website which overestimates a fair bit for safety.

You still haven't answered the question of what psu you have (how many watts it can deliver over the 12v rail/s) or if you have PCIE/molex connectors.

Im fairly sure tou dont need an extra cable as some models dont have that (pcie?) Port. I also think it needs only 60 watts while a motherboard can give out 75 watts through the pcie port.(i think again)

http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/gpu.php?gpu=GeForce+GTX+750+Ti

Passmark says max tdp 60watts
