Is anybody else having problems with GeForce experience? It doesn't seem to want to optimize Fallout 4 for me, it will optimize everything else though.

it takes literally 10 seconds to just set it to high or something

Seriously the auto settings are so far off most of the time is stupid

its only one game it doesn't work on, it would be faster to just pick your settings than spend weeks asking on the forum looking for fixes to the issue

Well I usually allow GFE to auto optimise the game then make on the fly adjustments based on what FPS I am getting. In my experience GFE is usually pretty accurate though it does tend to underestimate the power of my GPU on most games by a little bit (which I can totally understand)

Main Rig:-

Ryzen 7 3800X | Asus ROG Strix X570-F Gaming | 16GB Team Group Dark Pro 3600Mhz | Corsair MP600 1TB PCIe Gen 4 | Sapphire 5700 XT Pulse | Corsair H115i Platinum | WD Black 1TB | WD Green 4TB | EVGA SuperNOVA G3 650W | Asus TUF GT501 | Samsung C27HG70 1440p 144hz HDR FreeSync 2 | Ubuntu 20.04.2 LTS |

Server:-

Intel NUC running Server 2019 + Synology DSM218+ with 2 x 4TB Toshiba NAS Ready HDDs (RAID0)

It always does a terrible job for me, often picks 1080p instead of 1440p too

still though, anyone faintly familiar with their PC can set up the settings manually without much trouble

i generally slap everything on the highest, and see what happens, then turn off like advanced shadows and turn down AA , if that runs bad, ill drop to high

takes.. dunno 3 minutes,

You can select what resolution you wish to set the game too and optimise for in GFE

To everyone saying to set the settings myself, yes, I am very well aware of what my computer can do and that I can set the settings myself, but just because I can do that doesn't mean I want to, if you don't have any valid solutions, don't reply lol

Its a forum, where people are free to express their opinions, if you can't handle that, don't post

I still think the geforce experience auto settings are useless, but if you want to use them, then I cannot stop you

Are you on the latest version of geforce experiance with the latest drivers?

have you tried reinstalling geforce experiance?
