Offloading computing

pochie45566

Hey so I have two PC's and one I use for streaming and one for rendering and I want to have some of the encoding of the stream offload to my render box. Basic question is how can i offload a portion of the computing to another pc

Use a capture card on the streaming PC.

Or you can get the AverMedia Live Gamer HD and put it in your gaming PC because it has a built in h.264 encoder, so it takes almost all that load off your CPU.

I have a 8 core render machine which would get much better results.

Ok. That still leaves you with needing a capture card for the streaming/rendering PC, and I would still recommend the AverMedia Live Gamer HD because from the research I have done its one of the best ones out there, unless you're willing to toss down the money on a true professional grade capture card, and there you're looking at a couple grand most likely.
