Keeping alienware light on when closed

On my alienware m11x, is it possible to close the lid and keep only the vent looking lights on while its closed? Just for aesthetics for when I'm not using my laptop and using my desktop, I still have some sick looking lights on

I think 5v LEDs stay on when the system is off. Like that's how the motherboard light comes on when the pc is off. The PSU just needs to be on

its a laptop though. when i close the lid they go off.

Take off the thing that makes it think it's closed. Probably the only way
