i would bet money on the third options , as we don't even have rumours as to their basic specs right now.

Right now, option 3 is really the only reliable answer. However I do hope that the 490 is as good or better than the 1070.

While we know nothing about the cards yet (or whether they'll even exist with those names or not) I think it's a safe bet to say that nvidia is likely to sell more cards, regardless of which is actually better.
