Which graphics cards from Nvidia and ATI were the first to support DirectX 11?

Which generation was it?

I know that 8800 GTX was DX10.

If i recall correctly, GTX400 series for Nvidia and HD5000 series for AMD. Not lower end card of the series btw.

pretty sure nvidia was 300 or 400 sires but im not positive
