Hdd to adata ssd migration

Hello, i am trying to migrate from a hdd to an adata ssd. I downloaded their tool but it keeps giving me an error. I also tried maricum reflect but it also gives an error. What can i do?

Hello karsnoordhuis,

Download Acronis 2016 free trail and use that program to create a bootable *.iso, then create a backup image (*.tib) of the HDD onto the SSD. Ensure that the HDD is not connected and boot your machine to the *.iso media with the SSD connected. Using that media restore your system using the image (*.tib) back-up that you previously created on the SSD.

You should probably not rely on this as a guide of how to, but just an outline of the steps needed to take to migrate to the SSD.
