As you can read in my other topics, i have some money (1200€) that i cand spend to upgrade my computer, but i dont know what to upgrade...

Here is My actual systm:

Spoiler

System

  • CPUIntel Core i7-3770 @ 3,4GHz
  • MotherboardECS H77H2-EM
  • RAM16 GB DDR3-SDRAM
  • GPUGTX 980 Strix
  • CaseCorsair 760T
  • Storage120 SSD Plus Sanddisk + Seagate Barracuda Green ST1500DL003 1.5TB 5900 6.0Gb/s + 2TB

  • CoolingBe Quiet! Dark Rock Pro 3
  • KeyboardRazer Blackwidow

  • Operating SystemWindows 10

And here my options:

1. Upgrade my Samsung S22C300 to a asus rog swift pg279q (830€)

2. Upgrade my system to SLI, that includes change the motherboard from ECS H77H2-EM to a Gigabyte GA-Z170X-UD3 (150€) + Change the CPU from i7-3770 to a i7-6700K (375€) + change the RAM from 16 GB DDR3 4x4GB (unknown brand) to a Kingston HyperX Fury DDR4 2400 PC4-17000 16GB 2X8GB (79€) + New GTX 980 Strix (555€) ==> 1160€ total

If you can post why you selected an option i will apreciate that :)

Don't need SLI, 980 is more than enough. SLI is a waste of money. Rather wait for pascal if you want a full system upgrade imo. Skylake can wait.

I agree, Skylaky is great if you're making a whole new computer because you either don't have one yet or have something DDR2 based for instance.

But it's not worth upgrading to.

The change to skylake is because i cant find a SLI certiffied motherboard for the LGA 1155 socket xD

Option one would be nice, you really need to want it though since it isn't cheap.
